Doing One Little Thing…

If you're feeling down, sometimes doing one little thing can set you on another path and make you feel better. Some little things are:

1. go for a walk- even 2 blocks can make you feel better

2. call a friend with whom you have been out of touch but you used to love being with

3. go to a Meeting- any kind, political, social, religious, practical ( how to make your money grow)

4.  help somebody out- you can feel better if you enjoy somebody else's gratefulness

5- you probably are going over stories that have a bad ending- change the ending

6- go to a restaurant that you love- either by yourself or with a friend

7- make a list  of 5 things you are grateful for

8- see a movie that is pretty much guaranteed that you will love

9- think of somebody whose life was not in a good place and then by chance they met the love of their life and realize it could happen to you

10-go to a museum- go to the cafe and ask five people 5 different questions- like closest subway- where a certain exhibit is- is there a day when no charge- do they have talks about exhibits- social time where they serve drinks and food

11- even if you can only do part of one of these, that is enough- even a one block walk will get you dressed and out of the house and feeling better
